Has anyone put black slotted & cross drilled rotors on there SHO? If so what is the best? I'm getting black rims & the black caliper covers & I want to do the black rotors but I'm curious if they are any good. Mine is a 14' PP.

EBC USR series , Mine started black but it's just a coating. It will wear off after a week or so on the braking surface.

The performance package brakes already pretty good, if you're just wanting to upgrade for the color I don't think it's worth it.

From my understanding, the "color" the OP is desiring (in this case black rotors) is merely a protective coating to help prevent/mitigate rust build up.

Once the pads compress onto the rotors, that coating will increasingly wear off over time, leaving behind the typical "shiny" metal surface.

In all my years of modding, and several different platforms at that, I can't recall ever seeing rotors that were/are black through and through.

Product evolves though, so maybe I missed it, but I'm fairly certain it doesn't.
