Lost all the brake fluid the other day. While fixing the leak I will replace some other brake parts. My question is how much brake fluid do i need for total refill?
i found my car took 2 of the big bottles which i believe are 1 quart a piece. i found thats completely empty system since i had to replace my lines and all the calipers were empty from painting them.
this was on my 95 SHO, im not sure if other years had different ammounts which im sure the pre abs cars used less.
ok the rear caliper was leaking. fixed that and refilled brake fluid, but the pedal feels soft now. I have ss lines and not sure why i can't get firm pedal now. any suggestions. This is 93 atx setup w/ big brake upgrade.
remember there has to be a load on the rear wheels for the bias valve to let full flow to the rear calipers... and maybe the rubber flex lines are squeezed (by the body mount, famous problem)
