Brake Question

My right rear brake seems to be hanging on me. When I make a left turn going less than 5 mph I can hear it humming. My brakes are also squeaking. I have new pads and rotors and the last time it started doing this I pulled everything apart for inspection and cleaned and regreased the slider pins. Everything was fine for a couple of months and now it started back up. I have heard about the rubber hose on the brake lines failing and needing replaced. Would this be my problem? I use my emergency brake everytime I park the car so I don't think the cable would be frozen. If the rubber hose does need replaced do I have to go to the dealer for a new one? Thanks for your help..........

I quite honesty think it's the caliper bracket. Once crap gets into it where the slider pins are you're destined for continued headaches....been there, done that so I know first hand. Next time you need to **** up those slider pins or change the brake pads, do yourself a favor and replace the brackets too. You will notice a wonderful improvement.

Ohh where do you get those brackets. I had a prob 2 years ago with calipers freezing up, costed big bucks to get fixed at the dealership. I wouldn't mind a little preventive steps either, and are they easy to put on.
