I own a 93 ATX and found a 95 ATX in a wreaking yard. What would I gain by replacing the 93 with 95 brakes and spindles?

one word of caution, your spare won't fit the 11.5" 96 upgrade
get a bigger spare, or put the spare on the rear and move good rear tire to front if you get a flat
Yes, you need '94 or '95 knuckles, calipers, and bolts (they're all the same for both years).

If you go this route, be aware that you will need to reuse the bracket-to-knuckle bolts from the 94/95 along with the 96+ FN74 brackets. I think the bolts that come stock on the Gen 3s are too long to use with the 94/95 knuckle.
Well, after getting out to the wreaking yard, realized that they have hauled the SHO off to the crusher. Sad. There was a lot of good parts on that car. Looking around I found a couple of Taurus GL's that are pretty loaded. Will the knuckles be fine coming off of a GL or do the brake set up has to be SHO only?
