Hello, my name is Rob and I am the proud owner of a 2016 Taurus SHO. I was hoping someone would recommend what they consider to be the best (non custom) brake pads available?
The purpose is mostly for everyday driving; however, I do intend to run the car on open track days a few times a year.
Thank you for your consideration.

I personally have grown to become a big fan of the R1Concepts Ceramic pads. They're cheap, last a while and do stop well.

If you want to stay with motorcraft, the Performance Pack oem brake pads are really good as well.

EBC Yellow Stuff no fade at all and short warm up time. R1 concepts surprised me by how well they work for as cheap as they are but I'd only use them on normal driving, I wouldn't track them. Cant go wrong with Hawk either.

I tracked mine a few times at Pitt Race. Stock non pp pads are all day fade, junk. Swapped to EBC Yellow Stuff and I can late brake and put down PB times all day without fade. Stainless steel brake hoses if you wanna track like you say, pretty cheap and easy to install. Made a **** of a difference on pedal feel also.
