My passenger side rear brake is making a "clunking" noise. I don't know how else to describe it. Anyway the problem isn't affecting the cars driving but when I brake the sound stops. I'm new to this whole thing but i think its the pad. Any suggestions?

- What have you done to determine it is the brake?

Telling us it stops when you brake is good. How about telling us when it starts?

Does it just happen over bumps? Smooth surfaces also?

Is the frequency random or rhythmic? Does frequency change with speed?

Do tell.

Same here. I'm having the same trouble. Swaybar endlink? How would that make rhythmic noise and make the noise increase as speed increases?

it starts at random. Its rhythmic. And the frequency does increase when speed increases.

- It's not an end-link. Rhythmic and increasing with speed indicates a part of the rotating assembly is involved.

Did you take the wheel off and check for anything out of place?
