Could be the force of the acceleration is causing the pedal, to touch the contact that turns on the light when the pedal is pressed. Is your brake pedal loose?

Hows the brake fluid is it full?

I was thinking the same. The force of the car is moving the fluid around enough that the low fluid level light comes on. Hence you e-brake light.

BRAKE light at WOT is due to low fluid level.

If your fluid level is low and you have no leaks, you have pads that are well worn. Inspect and replace as required.

That fluid did go somewhere - the calipers where it is compensating for the worn pads.

While we are on this topic, has anyone had sucess repairing the switch on the parking brake pedal? My brake light is coming on as well but it's because of the switch (I can jiggle the pedal slighty to get the light to turn off and the fluid level is fine). I haven't even looked at it to see where it is or how I can get to it. It this something that I can clean or something that I replace?

Thanks
Ian
