please advise as to what brake fluid I should use for my 1989 daily driver...
I am putting on Earls stainless lines so the system will need to be drained anyway.
your thoughts appreciated

For street use, anything fresh should be fine. The Ford HD Dot 3 stuff is actually quite good, as is the Valvoline synthetic that you can get off the shelf at places like Wal-Mart.

Just look for the one that meets spec. and has the highest WET boiling point. Only go by dry point if your changing it out all of the time.

This one is pretty good for a daily driver.

Castrol GT LMA (low moisture activity) and ATE blue or ATE gold have low moisture activity and good boiling point features, both wet and dry. All of the above brake fluids are also acceptable as well for every day driving.

I used NAPA dot4 fluid in my SHO and use it in my Audi currently. Seems to work just fine...

Can't say anything better than the Valvoline for performance and daily driving, plus the price isn't bad. From memory, I've been paying around $6 for the big bottles [don't remember the exact size] at AutoZone, as I've been using this fluid for a few years and on all of my SHO's. With a fluid flush and new SS lines, you're going to be seeing some good results!
