Hello everyone;
I'm looking for new struts. It's been another 100K since the last ones and it's time again.
I have had the Monroe's they were ok and then the Gabriel's which were a little better but neither were as good as the original Ford struts.
I'm asking if you have any suggestions for replacements for my spirited & modified daily driver? I am looking at the KYB #SR4017/4018 but I would appreciate your input.
Best to all,
Joe

Thanks Zak but my front Gabriel's are only 6 months old. It's the rears that are at their limit.
Thanks again.

When I looked into it a while ago, it seems that the OEM struts were made by TRW. TRW was purchased by Sachs, which makes replacements sold under the TRW and Sachs brands. Note that Sachs/TRW have different part numbers for SHO applications than for standard sedans.

Rear part numbers SACHS 030-046, TRW JGM4028S or JGM4028S009
TRW is a bit hard to get. Amazon has a page, but no availability. Rock Auto has Sachs, 2 remaining: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1383954&cc=1138597&pt=7556&jsn=678

For anyone else looking for front part numbers: TRW jgm4026s, sachs 030-045
