Anyone know of the part number and or size of the brake caliper bracket bolt for a 1994 MTX? Where can I obtain one of these? Would the Stealership still have them?

you should be able to get them at any parts store or jy. I doubt you will find one at a dealer any more.

Front or rear caliper bolt?
If it's the front, do you have the 96 upgrade?

Edit, here ya go!

FRONT 94-95 knuckle to caliper bracket bolt # N807-146-S100

REAR Knuckle to caliper bracket bolt # N805-163-S100

It was for the front. Thanks guys, I was desperate this morning and started rummaging deep into the parts pile in my car port and found 2 of the bolts I had saved from a spindle I had bought a very long time ago from the junkyard that already had a caliper on it!

The bolt is 12x1.25x50mm, IIRC. I had one fall out a long, long, long time ago when I didn't tighten it enough after a brake job. That was an interesting event.

I did a search at the auto parts stores, napa, AZ, Advance, none of them had the right one luckily i found the spare.

It is the bolt that goes from the caliper bracket to knuckle and it was the top bolt which is worse. I just traveled 100 miles on the NY Thru way, went to the exit and slowed down, by the time I hit the toll plaza it felt like i was going over rumble strips. I then left the toll plaza and it was vibrating like crazy and started to lock up. I got out and checked and saw the top of the brake caliper leaning against the aftermarket rim. It scratched and etched a ring around the inside of the rim like a record groove.

I took the wheel off, Swapped the lower bolt and put it in the top hole and tightened it good and made it the rest of the way home about 15 miles.

Being an SHO owner, I always have a huge bag of pretty much all the tools I need to do most jobs on this thing lol.
