What is the best method/tool tool to facilitate the removal of the rear intake manifold brackets?

I also noticed that one of my plug wires was grounding out against the insulator inside the coil... oh_my it appears to be pitted but the outter integrity of the coil was not compromised. Do I need a new coil, and if yes, where is a good place to look?

Thanks in advance
EB

On my Gen II they are sloted at the bottom so all I did was loosen the 12MM bolt and slid it staight up and off.

I use a 12mm ratchet style box end wrench. Keeps the skin on your hands, like mentioned earlier the brackets are slotted so you just need to loosen the bolt enough to slide the bracket out.

You don't need to loosen or remove the lower bolt on the intake brackets to remove the intake. Only to get the valve covers off.
