Hey guys, my gf's 2015 is having a weird issue. It seems like the BOV is constantly cycling or something. Maybe the throttle isn't staying open? I dunno, I'm not good with the 4th gens. Car is basically stock with 60k miles. I made a video of what it's doing. This is steady throttle from 1st to 2nd. Also, I tried to accelerate briskly on the highway from 75 and it did nothing. Engine spun up to about 5500 and just sat there with the BOV making noise.

There's a vacuum control valve on the front of the motor in plain sight, it should have three hoses coming off of it. Check to see if the little rubber vacuum hose has come off or sprung a leak. Mine got loosey goosey and I put a fuel hose clamp on it. When mine came off it would seem like any boost was just getting vented and the motor turned anemic.

This fella here on top of the motor, under the beauty cover.

Popped the cover off and sure enough the hose going into the boost hose had fallen off. Thank you very much for the help!
You betcha. I'd put a hose clamp on it if it doesn't already have one. Mine was stretched from age.

Yes. Imagine saying you blew a “tranny” to a non car person.
I was on a transmission support page and used that word and FB's word police deleted my posting for being a bad word. I told META's AI that their AI algorythem was stupid. And it agreed with me that it was a word for transmissions and apologized to me and said it would try an do better. Really!

This is a 3 bolt BOV for many Fords, except ours which has a different 2 bolt ******.

If someone would go through the trouble of converting to the 3 bolt ****** on the charge pipe then Turbosmart has a drop-in factory ECU controlled upgrade that I would choose over GFB.
I'm looking for that. Is there a link?

You’d have to figure out the flanges’ modification. No adapters available. It would be much easier if you get aluminum charge pipes and fabricate your own BOV flanges and recirculation outlets.

I contacted Turbosmart and asked if they can make us a version with a different base so it becomes plug and play, but I got radio silence for two years, as with anything regarding our cars.
