Same tune? That was in high 40's temps with almost everything behind driver seat gone. Different tires/wheels too.

Same tune?
Weird how things work huh?Sort of...had a revision after adding epp intake this winter, so technically not same tune.
Also now 100% on new wheels and tires. I got these ones last august, but 3 times to the track with them i was a tenth slower than normal all 3 times. Went back to stockers for the rest of last year and my times came back to normal every single week til end of season.

Now that you say that, it reminds me a lot of golf. I had everything figured out at the end of last year. One trip to the track this year and it's like first time ever.
My reaction times were garbage. End of last year it would start with a 0 every time. I had .142's even had a .2xx.
Had the hose guy have to close my hood for me, had popped the release while driving, but as soon as i parked some guy started asking me about my times and got distracted, never opened hood so never closed it. Thank goodness they pay attention to it, i would have had a blue turd run except way slower.
Couple runs later i forgot to put rear window all the way up.
Ya it's very similar to golf. Smacks you right in the face once you think you got it figured out.
Hence, why I don't allow him to tune my set up. Should be Leashed Tuning.Torrie will tune you to what he sees is safe. He won't push it and risk damage to your motor. Had a conversation with him last week.

Glad he's learned. Back in 17 when he tuned my car it was spiking 22psi on the baby turbos. Big yikes when I was otherwise stockHence, why I don't allow him to tune my set up. Should be Leashed Tuning.
Should be Leashed Tuning.
BAHA that's hilarious. I'm renaming my tune files!
I'd have to dig so deep for them I'm not even going to try. LolJordan you have logs from back then?

Oh come on, ya teaseI'd have to dig so deep for them I'm not even going to try. Lol
Yet another reason HP is better haa. I can change my file names anytime.I actually tried that a few weeks ago but when i pulled up the tune on livewire it still had the name given by the tuner. I was sad.
In recent times I've been fairly against sharing entire logs. I'd give these up but honestly not worth the effort to find them. They are trash. It was also a base tune. That being said not trying to turn this until a tuner bashing thread so let's keep on topic. He won't turn it up because it's not safe to do so sounds like to me. Way to check this is pull up your log bring up RPM, boost/load,fuelrear pressure. On shifts or through the gears if fuel pressure is beginning to taper off then you've hit a fuel limit..Oh come on, ya tease
^I agree 100%...the question is how comfortable are you with fuel pressure? What is your fuel pressure low limit?
I got to the point where even the xdi35 began to taper to 2000 at 20 psi. Why I threw a little methanol at it lol. 2000 on stock hpfp I'd be all about haha! On the xdi that's like damn!I like when it doesn't go below 2900. Lol!
