I've been chasing a boost leak for months, at this point you can here it as soon as you get into boost. Only mods are gearhead e30 tune with stock hpfp. I also can't get over 12 psi when I should be around 16psi.

I started seeing oil droplets on my coolant reservoir right below the cap, passenger strut tower, catch can lines. After inspection of the noise maker could see oil coming out so put a plug in it. Still the same so then seen oil on the intake hose to throttle body.

Cut the plastic band clamps and put t clamps on them. Still getting oil spraying onto coolant reservoir. Replaced with mks intake pipe still getting oil spray. At this point has to be throttle body?? Does anybody have pic of the dust cap that blows of the throttle body? I don't see it and throttle body is clean but its the only thing right there that could be causing this.

Its not the infamous boost solenoid hose is it? Id be checking out the catch can really closely. Oil on the strut tower and coolant reservoir sounds ****** up to me. If theres a leak around the TB your just gonna see some oil hanging out on the bottom side of the TB i would think. Atleast that was the case for me when the shity plastic clamp was leaking on mine.

No the oil droplets are from the boost leak i thought it was gonna be the noise maker or intake pipe but after replacing it with the mks it still does it. There is a dust cap that blows off on the throttle body i want a pic of it so i can see if thats it. Based on where its spraying it can only be intake pipe or throttle body leaking boost.

Maybe it is early in the morning and I am not following correctly but, you have boost leak and you think it is in this location because you are seeing oil droplets? Isn't the bigger question why you have oil in the air intake system in large enough quantities that it is spraying droplets? Especially since you mentioned having a catch can system.

Is your noisemaker leaking? Possibly the boot that connects to the TB? What about the bottom that connects to the intercooler?

I mentioned in the first post that i replaced the intake tube with one from a mks so no more noisemaker. Also cut plastic band clamps and in stalled t clamps. Judging where im seeing the little droplets of oil it has to be in the area of the throttle body/ where the noise maker was at.
