I need your suggestions on how to approach repair of my 1989 SHO's body. The right rear quarter, bottom edge of trunk lid and bottom edge of the rear panel (above the plastic bumper) are showing some rust. The quarter panel is doing more than showing

, it's bubbled through in several spots.

I'd like to get a full metal repair and quality paint job done (clearcoat is badly peeling), but I can't spare the $2500+ right now. So, how can I prevent additional spread of rust?

I'm not too concerned about looks in the interim...I just don't want more metal work than necessary down the road.

As always, any help is much appreciated!

It`s like a cancer.Some items claim to stop it,but nothing will.
