blue smoke..now what?

ok my SHO has had some severe problems lately that im trying to get worked out..i havent drove it in a week or so..i started it up today..let it idle for 5 min took it out...i accelerated somewhat hard got it to about 5500 rpms...tons of blueish smoke..but once the car is warm...if i did the same thing the problem is basically not there..very minimal smoke...whats going on here?

i think there was a post the other day on this, i dont remember off hand what they said it was but i think it might have been the plug seals. the head gaskets rarely blow on a sho.

It was my post that BlackonBlackATX was referring too. General concensus was that the valve stem seals. Head gaskets rarely blow on the SHO. Mine has the same blue smoke. Just my .02 cents worth.

thanx everyone for there reply..is this something that needs to be fixed or can it be ignored for a while till i have the money?
