Out of curiosity, I know the functions of a Blow-off Valve, On a Turbo....But is it really required on a Supercharged SHO? Nearly Every supercharged SHO i see seems to have one, Is it really a Necessity with a S/C Car? And if so, Could somone explain why? Thanks!

If the SC is before the throttle body, yes. You have to have somewhere for the air to go when the TB is blocking it from going into the motor ;)

A lot of times they aren't called BOVs on supercharged apps., but I'm tired and I can't think of the name right now. Essentially they serve the same purpose. It also depends on where the MAF (if one is used) is located as to where it "blows off" to. Wow I'm tired.
