Blower Door Actuator Motor & BCM Part Nos.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the blower door actuator motor (sits behind the dash) and the blower control module (BCM, behind the glove compartment)?

I tried rockauto.com but it doesn't list either.

These will be Ford-only parts. The are not

Contact your local Ford Dealer's parts department for the part numbers of contact www.fordpartsnetwork.com for part numbers and pricing.

Make sure you give them the year and model info, you did not provide it to us in your post.

You'll probably be as suprised as I was when I went to ford to ask them how much a new BCM was and they told me $300.00. Still haven't got a new one and I don't really notice the fan blowing on high anymore.

Sorry for forgetting the year of my SHO.

It is an '89, all stock with 277,000 mi.

I obtained the info (part number and price) for the blower control module from Ford Parts network.

For the blower door actuator motor, they sent me the Ford drawing of everthing that's behind the dash with part numbers and I was to locate that specific part and give them the number for pricing. But I can't define which part is the actuator from the drawing - i.e. I'm not intelligent enough to figure it out from the drawing.

Regarding the Ford dealer, everytime I call them, they won't give me the part number, just the price, when I tell them what I want by description.

They said if they gave me the part number, then I would just shop around to get the lowest price.

I always thought that's how they operated, but perhaps, others have had different experiences.

So how much did Ford Parts Network quote you for a new blower control module?

They quoted me about $169 for the BCM (I think; I have to check my email).

They are usually 60% to 50% of Ford list price.


But does anyone know the part number for the actuator motor? shrug
