Well, I've got a noise coming from the center of the dash near the base of the windshield. I ran a self test of the EATC and came up with code 02--blend door. The thing is that I still get heat and cold when I adjust the temp. The noise is a clicking that is there with the EATC on or off. Sometimes it will stop, though. Do I need to replace the blend door motor or is it something else? Thanks.

It may not be the door thats bad. When the door moves so does a contact pointer on a resistor. It feeds a voltage back to the ETAC telling the position of the door. If there is dirt or corrosion on that strip the ETAC gets a false reading and may keep trying to move the door. It's a very simple assembly, getting to it is where the work is.

A broken gear inside the BDA module will cause that exact symptom. If your EATC has complete control of the teperature, I'd just turn the stereo up louder :p

I've read the write-up on SHOTimes.com and it only talks about a few harnesses that need undoing to pull the dash back. Will any vacuum lines need to be taken off? Any snags I can expect? I have access to Alldatapro online factory manuals. The factory manuals listed A LOT more stuff to remove. Thanks.
