***$ALE CURRENTLY PENDING THRU 10/10/10***

Up for sale is my recently acquired black '89 SHO that I REALLY do not want to sell. I bought it from my boss this summer to have as a second "toy" (I also have a red '95 ATX) I bought it because I always wanted an MTX and this was a great opportunity to finally get one. What I really didn't think out very well was that I just can't justify having 2 cars.

Black w/ grey/taupe half leather interior. Manual HVAC controls, no ABS or sunroof. The wheels were powdercoated (not painted) a satin black. If you don't like them I have another set of slicers that are immaculate still in the original finish.

So here is some history on the car...

My boss purchased it last summer from the 2nd original owner. The bought it with only 9k miles on it and drove it as a daily driver (older couple) up until 110k when my boss purchased it last summer. I bought it this summer @ 115k and it currently has just over 116k on it. The clutch had been replaced at some point from the past owner that drove it as a dd and the front 60k was done @ 75k. Here is what I can tell you about what has been done on the car from myself & the previous owner since last year.

8/7/09 @ 110k miles:
*new windshield
*new Motorcraft spark plugs & wires
*new heater core
*new (not reman) RF CV axle shaft
*new front sway bar links
*rod shifter conversion
*JVC CD player w/ aux. input jack

9/30/09 @ 112k miles:
*new clutch cable
*new rear KYB GR-2 struts & mounts w/ Moog coil springs

12/9/09 @ 113k miles:
*new radiator
*new (reman) Cardone Rack & Pinion
*flushed the power steering fluid
*4 new Cooper CS4 Touring Tires (P225/55R16 V-rated)
*4-wheel Alignment

3/5/10 @ 113k miles:
*new Sachs clutch & flywheel (filled with GM Synchromesh fluid)
*new transaxle output seals
*Magnaflow y-pipe
*New A/C condensor & converted A/C to R134a

7/1/10 @ 115k miles:
*new fuel filter
*Installed mufflers from a takeoff '05 Mustang GT
*Mustang GT shift ****
*Installed BBB's (shosource), SHO Shop CAI (w/ K&N Filter inside the fender), 80mm Lincoln Mark VIII MAF, Stage 2 Ported Intake (shosource), X2J ECU w/ custom LPM tuner (shosource)
*Installed ASFB's from shosource
*Seafoam treatment run through intake & sprayed directly into intake runners
*2 new Cooper Zeon ZPT (225/50R16) tires for front tires (I took it to the drag strip so I needed a grippier tire in the front. I still have the CS4's. They all have over 10/32" of tread left (nearly new)
*Installed Police Grille (painted flat black)
*Tinted the tail light lenses & front turn signal lenses with VHT Nite Lens (not spray paint - the light shines through)

9/15/10 @ 116k miles:
*New Monroe Quik Struts in front (Complete strut w/ mounts & coil springs)
*New HVAC control panel & temp cable (old one was kinked & hard to turn
*New oil pressure sending unit (was starting to leak)

The Good:
This car is in amazing condition. NO LEAKS of ANY kind! Runs & drives perfect. NO RUST!! Needs nothing! Perfect candidate to either restore for a "classic original" or for a great solid car to start as a base to add some serious power (turbo, s/c, nitrous, etc)

The Bad:
The paint is original & still in pretty good condition but definitely showing its wear. The front leather is cracked up but not torn.
THAT'S IT!

I live in Moorhead, MN and would be willing to deliver as far as Minneapolis @ no charge. I would be willing to deliver further but traveling expenses would need to be negotiated first.

OP if you want to sell me the powdercoated slicers let me know through pm. Thank you. If I had more money this would make a great daily driver! God I wish

I'll see what happens first when I find a buyer if they want the black wheels or the silver ones.

BUMP!
Added a couple new parts & some videos uploaded to youtube.

Am I asking too much for this car or is there just not the buyers out there right now? Can anyone give me some feedback? The car is mechanically perfect & cosmetically I'd say an 8 out of 10.
