Got a weird issue that just cropped up out of the blue the other day. Crank the car up to go to the store, turned car off, went in store and came back out to start it and nothing but turning over and over. Amidst this I noticed that the check engine light is dimly lit, and the cooling fans and fuel pump run constantly in the ACC position but still no start.

I recently replaced the engine computer due to a mechanic negligently burning it up while doing a heater core replacement but since then there have been no issues at all until this. My initial thought was the CCRM but I took a spare that I had (different letter but installed it to see if the same thing would happen when I put the car in the ACC position and the same thing happened-engine fans and fuel pump on constant run).

Does this sound like my engine computer has taken a crap again, or what? I'm baffled...

cooling fans running constantly when key is in 'on' position is a symptom of a pcm that is
1. not connected
2. not grounded
3. dead

start by making sure the connector is on tight.

Btw how could I tell of the PCM weren't grounded or how would I check for that? I don't know much about wiring but am starting to get a slight bit of motor movement due to mounts needing replacing...not sure if that has any relevance

when the guy "burned it up" previously, did he also burn up part of the wiring harness?

Not that I'm aware of, replaced the pcm and everything was fine for at least 3 months and now this...

according to my 94 factory wiring diagram:

pin 1 is Battery power in
pin 20 is ground
pin 19 is switched power to fuel pump circuit of ccrm
pin 37 is switched power to the other half of ccrm
pin 26 is switched power out to engine sensors
