The information that has become available is amazing, and can launch tuning capabilities far ahead of anything that we have had in the past.

Adam Marrer at Pops Racing has written the X2J Binary file, as well as the D4U1. In the past few days this guy has spent about 4 hours with me explaining/showing me how this works. This is absolutely amazing to me and this community. If you have a twEECer or SCT, he has this stuff figured out! I recently bought the BIN / BIN editor / Tune from Adam, and I know with the software that is out now, we can finally start giving these cars the power/driveability we thought we could not get.

For any of you guys thinking of tuning with twEECer, this is a MUST!!!!

What does this mean to me?

If I am a stock motor & want to get a tweecer, what bolt on upgrades will this binary work best with?

Does this software package make tuning with the TwEECer more intuitive? It's the next upgrade on my list. When I borrowed a TwEECer from a friend, the software was a little heavy handed. I have a few mods that could make good use of custom tuning.

So uh, any info on how we go about acquiring this? I went to their website (strangely enough it ended up being www.popsracing.com), but there is no mention of it.

We just finished updating our site to make it easier to get the X2J.cry strategy for Binary Editor from Adam Marrer. We've worked out a special price for SHO NUT TwEECer Customers. All the details are here:

http://www.shonutperformance.com/TwEECer.htm

Adam's work comes highly recommended and endorsed by SHO NUT Performance. We refer all our tuning inquiries to Adam Marrer of POP's Racing.

Adam Marrer developed the D4U1.cry strategy to completion for BE on his own before we started working together - you can contact him directly for D4U1 support for BE.

Well I suppose I shouldn't get anybody's hopes up too far, i won't be getting anything until next year - difficult to tune from Iraq.

you are going to need a pretty long usb cable

Lol, all kidding aside though, tuning isn't the issue; I could write a pretty good tune from here and send it to Michelle to put on the tweecer, but it is extremely difficult to convey how a car is running as a result through words and pictures. One really has to feel it him/herself. And it's that final massaging step that would be nearly impossible from here. But hey, only 9 more months... lol

Data logging will tell you everything you need to know about how the car is running... Even more so than what the driver can 'feel'.
