So! I've seen some threads talking about (and mod lists), of people running the Bilstein B6 struts and shocks.

Are they different from stock? If so, how? I've got H & R's, and like typical lowering springs, they make the car a little bouncy on poorly constructed roads. It'd be nicer to have a little stiffer (or would it be softer), strut/shock combo to compensate.

I just visited the Bilstein site and they show no matching products for our car, at least not for the 2015 vintage.

Thoughts?

I have them on my XSport. The Bilstein B4 line is the stock/OEM replacement and B6 are their slightly higher performance line. I also have the H&R Springs and it totally tamed the bounciness. Very firm and alot more sporty than stock. I also have the steeda rear sway bar, rear trailing arms and rear toe links, so I've got this suspension dialed in.

I realize this doesn't help the SHO community much, other than, I am wondering if they would fit as much is shared between the 2 platforms...

Just found this website that lists some B4S not only for an incredible price (prolly why theyre out of stock), but says they fit a 2011 SHO, this is just the rear though

Front Right 22-266620
Front Left 22-266637
Both Rears 24-266664

It took 8 months to get the Front Right strut in...it was on backorder for everyone in the country for a long time for some reason.

If you can find the B6s that fit, I'd recommend those, especially if you're lowered. The B4s are OEM replacement.

It depends on who you are, some people might want the soft OEM feel, but yes if you want a aftermarket sportier feel the B6 are the way to go, funnt enough I'm gonna take a look cause I think the B6s on the rear of my RX8 might fit the front of my SHO

I don't know who made them but I'm pretty sure they are not the B6's.
