best tire size for drag radials?

what would be the ideal size for a drag radial on a 16" rim? assuming width of the rim not be a factor, wider better? or just more weight?

Depends on HP, if you have a blower, LSD or 4L kit?

Assuming you have none of those slicks will just bog the engine worse off the line and yout times will only get worse.

You need to get the engine up on the cam not bog the engine.

i was talking about drag radials not a true slick with no tread.and i do run nitrous.

I think a lot of people have run 225/50/16 in drag radials.
