Where is the best deal on buying a windshield for the 86 to 95 Taurus?
I am in the North East corner of the USA, but I would like to hear all of the prices that are available.
My insurance deductible has priced me out of handling a windshield replacement through them.

you have to shop local and compare. I have seen a friend of mine shopping for a 10 yr old corolla and prices are all over the place. Sometimes douible or more difference between companies. I had a local shop that used to have the cheapest price around compared to larger chains. I have used local and national chain units over the years and I have no idea how much quality difference exists between them.

cheapest may not be the way to go. windshields vary from mfg. to mfg. the cheaper ones have distortions as you get to the greater curved sides and once it's installed and when u are driving it can be very distracting and plain ole dangerous. if u can locate new old stock it might be best. there are no distortions with the originals from ford/mercury.
