belt tensioner nut is stripped

ok. found out about removal of the damn alternator. only problem is that the nut on the middle of the belt tensioner is stripped. i've tried vise gripps and still can't get it. any suggestions would be great.

If you are talking about the accessory belt tensioner Looks like you will have to take the whole tensioner off. I think there is 3 bolts once you do this you can get to the stripped bolt and fix it or buy a new tensioner.
