My P/S pump exploded today and the closest replacement is several days away. As my SHO is my only car currently, I need to have it operational for the time being.

With that said, I need ti find out what size belt it would take to run just the water pump on my 3.0. I imagine I could wrap the belt around the crank, belt tensioner, and the water pump pulleys and be okay, right?

I know this is somewhat of a hack job fix but I really need a car for the remainder of the week and my options are extremely short at this point. So please do not post in here how careless I am with my SHO and how this is the most ghetto fix ever. I do not need to hear that right now.

Thanks,
LJRuddy :salute:

So can I comment on your facebook about how that's the most ghetto repair ever then?

lolol, just kidding. Honestly though, you should try getting a flexible tape measurer of the cloth variety (you have one, right?) and wrap it around the pullies you want to get an approximate length. Maybe subtract half an inch or so to load the tensioner up. That would be the easiest way I can think of...
