What's up SHO fans, been a long time since I was on last so I decided to get on and introduce myself again. I live in Utah and just picked up a 94 MTX SHO for $350, been sitting for 2 years. Needs a bit of detail cleaning and looks like a water pump which I have already ordered. Even after sitting for so long, starts right up (with a jump of course) But glad to have another SHO and look forward to spending more time on the forums..

Welcome "back", Mike, glad to see you take on a revival project :thumb: Such a universally liked, revered, and rare color combo too ;) I had one in that combo too!

Thank you SHOdded.

Yeah she needs a little bit of work, but in time will be a very nice car again. I actually found a 95 automatic in the junk yard, so I am going to pull the motor next week to use in the 94 with the 5 speed. I heard that if you take the 3.0 cams and install them in the 3.2 you pick up a few ponies. I also have the 3.2 fuel injectors I will be using as well. I'm wondering if the heads are the same between the two and if maybe installing the 3.0 heads will up the compression a little on the 3.2, do you know anything about that? Thankfully interior won't be too hard to find since the taurus lx and the sables had almost identical pieces minus the lovely seat hugging option the sho seat have, but I think I can deal without that just to have decent seats.
