Long time SHO owner

Hello. I have a 2019 SHO currently. I had an '89 SHO when they were first introduced. I seem to be a glutton for punishment. The reason I bought this one was I recently bought a new 2016 Hellcat Charger (silver, 8-speed automatic). But after three years $2K insurance premiums ~ liability only (I paid cash for this car so I didnt need collision coverage) and the annual depreciation, combined with the nine MPG, I decided it didnt make sense to own it. It was dropping close to $7K annually. I wanted a performance sedan that got better mileage; turbocharged engines are much more efficient than supercharged, so I bought this SHO slightly used. Its a beautifully driving car, but its no Hellcat. I love the car.

Maybe shoulda stayed with the 89 XP
Oddly my 89 is pretty close to same fuel efficiency as my 2015

the 2015 taurus is also almost a 1,000 lbs heavier than the 89. all that weight is hard to overcome.
