Don't know if this is being blown out of proportion (I seriously hope so), but if your car isn't in the garage, get some blankets!

Rumors of hail traveling up to 120 mph (which is crazy).

I wish I didn't have Adam's car this week. I can put it in the garage at work, but that won't be until 11 p.m. tonight. ):

From JSonline:
The National Weather Service has issued an update on the approaching storm system, which will spread across southern Wisconsin late this afternoon.

From the update:

"Thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of a strong cold front between 3 pm and 6 p.m. Some of the thunderstorms are likely to be severe, producing large hail and damaging wind gusts. Once the thunderstorms develop, they should track to the northeast at nearly 60 mph. Tornadoes are possible through this event."

The entire state is under a Wind Advisory from 10 this morning until 7 tonight.

Did I mention I am a complete wuss when it comes to tornadoes? And I am in class until 4:40 today. ):

damn that sucks for all you guys, grab some plywood and blankets and lay them over your car. Thats what i did last time my car was in a storm like that, just makes sure everything is tied down real tight, cuz if those boards fall off your screwed.

Thats what I have insurance and a low deductible for.

I would rather have it happen to the GTO then the mint 98 SHO. That's way more likely to get totaled than the GTO would, plus alot harder to replace.

so the rest of the year you pay a crazy high premium, because you have a low deductable... saving money once-in-a-blue-moon when some freak hailstorm is supposed to come that doesnt even happen... ?

Well this was a waste of a post considering we got "lucky" in the Milwaukee area according to the news this morning.

How are the boys up north? I know one or two tornadoes touched down up there.

Weird weather lately here... There was a small tornado touchdown just north of Grand Rapids according to my boss, who was in the middle of it (but that was Saturday) Not a REAL tornado, but enough to tear some stuff up.

But we had nothing on Thursday night- it was a little windy, but that was about it, a little light rain by my house.

Nice double post, and it was like $5 more a year to have a low deductible, so chill. :thumb:
