Is there a way to check the battery voltage through the computer?

I dont know about thought the computer, but I have bought a voltage regular that is able to show how many volts the battery has.

I found a little display made by Stinger that gets the voltage by tapping in to the cigarette lighter.

I haven't attached the scan tool to my SHO yet, but I think every car with OBD-II that I've had my scan tool connected to lists battery/system voltage as one of the parameters in the datastream.
