Battery Question

I swaped out my Dead 1000 CCA battery with a 800 CCa battery now the battery light stays on all the ime. THe alt is brand new and charging at 14.6v.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Maybe its becuase of the smaller Max output of the battery?

I would say you have either an alternator problem...or the new battery has a bad cell in it....

Hmm ill have to check out the battery since the alt is like 3 days old

Check the small grey wire running into the top of the alt. Mine is kinda flaky and will cause the alt light but will still charge.
