Battery Problems

Hey all this problem is probably really simple but my cars battery life lasts about 2-4 hours Ive taken it to a mechanic a couple of times now and they keep telling me its the battery and they replace it under warranty. Im getting really tired of jumping my car every morning before school and was wondering if anyone has had issues like this and could give me some advice on what to d about it

Sounds like you have some sort of parasitic draw. Until you can locate it you can get a battery disconnect from a place like Wal-Mart and disconnect it before you leave the car sitting.

To start troubleshooting I'd put a current meter on the battery and start pulling fuses to see where the draw is coming from.

are they testing the alternator? cause it sounds like a sick alternator to me, from your description.
