Battery Problem

Ok so i took the battery out of my SHO to put into another sho to bring it to my house after i did that i put my battery back in and now it won't start and all it need's is a little charge and it'll start right up but won't hold the charge at all.. but before i took it out of my car it worked absolutely perfect but now that i put it back it won't hold a charge at all.. Any idea?

I was gonna say maybe it's the cold but noticed you're in Tuscon, so scratch that.

You didn't drain it completely (or come close to it) did you? Most car batteries don't like that. Also could be a bad connection somewhere. Check your grounds and connections at the alternator.

How old is the battery? How about the alternator? You can have these tested for free at many parts stores. It's probably worth your while to have them checked. If they're both good you can move on to other components. If one or both are bad, you may have found your problem.

EDIT: Wait, does it not hold it's charge while it's running, or when it's turned off? If you have a voltmeter you can check the charge of the battery and alternator output, which will help diagnose the problem.

try a good one. battery light on on your dash? that means bad alternator.
