I just installed new fog lights and the work great. The only problem is after a few minutes of having them on the battery light goes on. If I turn the fog lights off the battery light goes off almost immediately. I've done a search but found nothing similar. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Electrical? Thanx for the help.

What kind of Fog lights (amps?)and how did you wire them?

Unless they are major off road fog lights that suck up a couple hundred amps, I think that your alternator might be on the way out. The stock alternator can handle a lot.

Also is this at any time or when you are at an idle? Underdrive pullies?

I installed the same factory fog lights pulled from a '91 (I have a '90). It didn't matter the rpm's, if I turned them on, idle or driving, the bat light would come on. So, I'm driving home from work (about 7 miles) at night, and tried the new Fog lights and no battery light. WTF!?! I'll update the experiment the next couple of days.
