Today while driving my clutch pedal went from effort to push to pinky pushin feel, and it realeses REALLY early, i've tried readjusting it, but to no avail, the clutch is no more than a yr. old, and it was a FORD :ruhroh: clutch pak, so it came w/everything...is this a sad sign of a bad clutch, if so whats the best aftermarket available, just typical weekend warrior/daily cruiser...and also a lightweight flywheel??...is there anything else that i should check for to see if it could be the problem??..the clutch pedal went weak and i can hear chatter goin on down there now while driving...bad signs??...thanx :thumb:

if it has a long engagement(as in, it starts near the floor, and ends near the top of the pedal travel), it could be the disc has disentigrated. if it's the same feel as it was, just way lower, and softer at the top, the adjuster could have broken. and it could also be TOB/PP finger problems

That's no good Nick... Is it slipping it all or is it ok once it's engaged?

BTW, my unbiased clutch choice is the Clutchmaster's stage I and the recently revised Fidanza flywheel. :D

Unbiased huh? ;) I forgot to say that when my disc disentigrated, it didn't slip, once fully engaged. It just took the entire length of pedal travel to engage/disengage completely and slipped horribly while engaging/disengagaing it. just forgot to add that in. :thumb:

No no mis-shift, no slippin, just a pedal that seams a lil weaker and easier to engage....ever since it happened the car seems to move better, y that is i dont know, but Mike i'll b lookin into a clutch pak/flywheel combo SOON...w/no shipping charges of course:thumb: .. but after heater core(its gettin cold here)and fuel pump/fuel regulator!!..thanx
