Hi, just bought a '94 MTX and she's already starting her first problem with me.
I can hear & feel a pretty bad vibration coming through the shifter. This has a little higher frequency to it than the normal engine vibration, and I believe it's eminating from under the shifter. I put the car on a lift today for another reason, but I did notice that the shifter rod has a tad of play (at the shifter)...Could this be my problem? Other ideas?
