Bad Oxygen Sensor?

Hey, I was getting both engine codes 172 and 173, so I took the rear oxygen sensor out to see if it was bad. Here's what it looks like:



Is this oxygen sensor still any good?

that thing is toast!, replace them both

Haha yeah! I replaced that one & it got rid of the codes. I'm gonna replace the other sensor soon.

Cripes! What happened to the tip. I've never seen one come apart like that before.

Just about to do mine, I hope they dont look like that.

I'm hoping that the metal was very brittle & broke when trying to get it out because I have no idea why it would break like that.
