I have a loud squeak from the left front tire. It is louder while stopped, not so much under power rolling fowards or backwards. It also gets a bad wiggle at about 60 or 65 mph. I can feel it right under my left foot. Has anyone else had this problem and could it be dangerous? I don't want to be an the way to work and lose a tire on US19 at 70 mph. That would really suck. :frown:
Thanks for any input.

Are you turning the wheels side to side when you are stopped? If so, take a look at your outer tie rod end, I've heard 'em squeak when they get bad. Good luck with it.

It only happens when I turn the wheel to the left not the right.
It sounds like a rubber on rubber or a rubber on metal noise. How much should it be to replace the rubber pieces in there? Or can a mechanically challenged person do that himself?

Sounds to me that you should replace your front strut tension bushings (if you have not done this yet). My car would squeek on a forward and reverse motion even when turning and going over a small bump. I can also here it while I back-in in my driveway. So what I did was to do a lot of searching in this forum. I also found out that 'SHO Phoenix Project' website has an excellent illustration on how to replace the bushings and LCA. I replaced my Frt. strut tension bushings and decided to replace my two LCA's as well two weeks ago. Today, my front end is nice and quiet.
