I did a search and mine seems to have the stumbling at startup issue. It's only on a cold start. I sometimes have to hold the key longer for it to turn over. Once it does, it stumbles badly (almost died on me tonight) then once the ECM sends the signal to the engine for "warmup" idle which jumps it to just over 1k RPMs, the engine catches up and then idles out smoothly. It starts fine after that.

Just wanna verify that this is what it is. Looks like a cheap part and is well within my limited mechanical abilities. (I can now successfully remove the intake and valve covers and reinstall them w/o destroying anything). It looks like I'll have to remove that dampener bolted to the strut tower and maybe the battery to get to it.

grab ahold of a fuel pressure guage and see what your fuel pressure does when you kick the key over, but don't start it. it should hold steady at around 35psi +/- for at least 5 minutes. if it doesn't, then the valve for the return line is shot, allowing the rail to lose pressure, making it hard to start.

After Aug 9th will probably be fine. You going to Blackwater River or Styx River?

Oh and....I might be buying a higher mileage Gen 2 also, so rod bearings may need to go in that car as a priority over the 90 instead. I'll let you know if I pick up one in the next weekend or 2; otherwise, as we talked the rod bearings in the 90 as well as the camshaft/plugs/gaskets. Just give me a price on the whole thing.

We do the Bob's trip on Blackwater. It's a good time for cheap when you have your own tubes. As for the car maybe 3 or so, dude I'm no good a judging time on automo stuff I've never paid or charged anyone for service . You may have to leave the car overnight . Or stay here but I'm sure we can work it out lemee know.
