I just can't describe the feeling  when I got her back from the Muffler shop (new Y-pipe with cats and O2s $625 total). Thank god I don't have to drive tht f**king :frown: kia rio to work. It feels good sitting at a light a knowing that you can blow the doors off of any one within eyesite. If you do or not doesn't matter. Just knowing you can is enough for me.
I never had enough time in it to figure out the MPG before it started acting up. I'm now getting just over 16 MPG. Is this normal or low? Seems a little low but I also just got done driving the kia with 30 MPG. Also I do mostly city stop and go driving, not much Hwy.
Thanks guys and keep the it coming. You are a valuable souce of information.

In a place like key largo, where its like a 2 mile stretch then a light.

Id say for city driving thats not ALL that bad.

If you were cruising then you know theres a problem.

99% of my driving is stop and go. Only about 15 min of hwy on US19.
BTW: I do like to get on the gas coming off a light, especially if I'm next to a little import with just exhaust.

I average 25mpg, but a lot of my driving is interstate, well at least to and from work. The other day, I checked my mpg and I only got like 22 mpg...........guess that was from racing that mustang gt!!

28.5 highway if i keep it at or below 73mph...

26.1 highway if i don't pay attention and drive my normal 80-85mph...

23-24 city if i'm "spirited" on the gas at lights...

highway commute is 78.5 miles each way, 93 octane.

i'm happy with the mileage.

yours may be a little low, but not horrible if you're stop-n-go and "spirited." make sure you check your tire pressures...if they're low, mileage will suffer.

btw, A/C on? that seems to suck 1-2mpg from me.
