Need to find a place that take car carcasses.

coupla sawsalls or plasma cutters, and we could all load pieces in our trunks and make deposits at random dumpsters :) I figure with all the members sho-ing up lately, we could cover every direction. or as part of club initiation...

Daughter's wedding is in June and I will have lots of visitors at Dooleyville. I've got the Rare green SHO emptied out and on a trailer ready to take to the scrapper. Need to find a place that take car carcasses.

The old blue one is next, then the silver one.

I'll let you guys know.

Tom

Wow Tom, you all made quick work of that one. Did you already take the gas tank off ? Ya know the straps and tank on my ride are shall we say questionable as you mentioned. I have to find out if the tanks on Gen II's actually fit gen I's.

Also, those brake lines that run from the Master cylinder to the antilock controller are impossible to find and are quite tough to fabricate....not that yours could ever possibly rust.

Come and get free parts or almost free parts while they're hot!

You are talking about the green one that Jason took the black interior out of I assume. I am working at the Scottsdale In N Out this weekend to help out with the golf tournament and I would be able to stop by and take the ASFBs off if you haven't already. I don't have the $ca-ching$ to pay for them right now but I can take them off now, let you hang on to them and pay you when I have the chance.

Aaron,

I've already got them off and sitting on the shelf with your name on them. I won't sell them to anyone else, don't worry.

I'm sending Jason the last black seatbelt that he forgot when he was down here along with my shim kit. He owes me so much, I going to call him my SHO b*tch from now on. :laugh_ti:

I'll go and see if I can get the brake lines from the ABS controller to the master cylinder now.

Alright, thanks a lot Tom, thats what I like to hear. Now as far as Jason being your b*tch...we will have to see how he feels about that one.

I know that Jason is in 'debt' with Tom and he fully plans to show him his appreciation for all that Tom does for us in AZ (and the rest of the SHO community). ;)

Yeah, at a track day. I've got the schedule right here...

I was at a track event here in Flagstaff.....there was a turbo beetle that showed up and ran. It had a 3 foot long wind up key coming out of the rear deck. Like one of those keys used to wind a toy or grandfather clock. The thing was motorized to, so it spun as the guy drove the car. Hilarious. Made me think of that Beetle commercial where the European Rally guys looked at this dudes beetle with nothing but stickers on it and said "cute car"

Hey guys, I'm Joe. I'm new to the forum. I've been out to AZ 5 or 6 times, thats where my dads side of the family is. I live out here in Mass. Next year I will be going to UTI, I can't wait! Do you guys know of UTI? Maybe someone goes there? I'm bringing my car out there and am planning on buying a lot of parts over the summer. Just wanted to let you all know there will be another member in September. :thumb:
