Are you here now or in Jersey?

Tom

I live in NJ. I make the trip out to AZ every couple of months where the car is garaged (at my parents house). No more being stored away during those long and cold Northeast winters!

You just wait till I find my running Gen 1 parts car.

Dude, I have it.
I have it parked in the company parking lot in Mesa. I've endured a number of; "Did you know we almost had it towed?" jokes. I just don't have the testicular fortitude to ask Tom to berth it. Although I really want to.
Not that I would.
Or that he would refuse.

No.

I've got to clean up before the big day in June. The rare green one is almost done and then there are two more to be gotten rid of. Then we can talk.

Same here, let me know if you want help with the cleanup.

Don't throw out that orange heap just yet, either. ;)

what big day are you talking about? Daughters wedding or Cave Creek trash day?

Let me know when the clean up is. I will bring my trusty child labor force to get busy.

Guys: First I would like to say welcome to the forum, welcome to SHOwnership and welcome to Arizona. Land that is free and home of the bravest sho guys in the nation. looking forward to meeting all of you at the next meet.

Unfortunately we have a protocol for selling vehicles on the forum which is in the rulebook and that requires a fee. I know I did joke about storing my stuff at tom's (this is true), but I wasnt looking for anyone to post their cars up for grabs. Thanks though.

I had to remove your posts from this section as they are quasi sales ads which I as a mod must address. Sorry dudes.

SHOME,

Check for voltage at that crash sensor in the trunk with a test light. The light should light up for a second or two when you first turn the key to "ON" on one side of the switch if the crash switch has been tripped. It will light on both sides if it hasn't been tripped.

You can also hook up an ohm meter across the two terminals of the switch to test the switch. You should read -0- ohms of resistance (continuity) between those two terminals. With the ohm meter still attached, give the side of the switch a little tap with a screwdriver handle. If the switch functions properly the circuit will be opened up and the ohm meter will read as an open.

I'm kind of busy right now, but can help you out further in a couple of days. And like F-22 Raptor SHO mentioned earlier, contact the owner of the SHOForum to place an add for your car in the "For Sale" section. It's still cheaper than Autotrader and the Republic.

Welcome to SHOdom anyway, even if you sell it.

Daughter's wedding is in June and I will have lots of visitors at Dooleyville. I've got the Rare green SHO emptied out and on a trailer ready to take to the scrapper. Need to find a place that take car carcasses.

The old blue one is next, then the silver one.

I'll let you guys know.

Thanks for the welcome first off .. secondly, I really don't want to sell her, I just got her 3 weeks ago but the funds have depleted on other things so thoughts do cross the mind. I have wanted a SHO for as long as I can remember .. and I believe it was long before I could drive and till this day, it is a sexy car to look at (Gen 1&2) But nobody here in Tucson has or stocks a lower radiator hose!! whats up with that? She is road capable as of now, but I need that lower hose .. and a starter and she will be beyond capable to road worthy. Anyone out here in AZ have these parts :) or where can I order them.. feel free to shout it out. Looking forward to meeting and seeing you guys in the PHX area, as I will be moving to the area within the next 2-3 months, so, uhmm, become my friends, I need movers! :):)
