Im installing my drivers side axle right now and shes giving me trouble. Its in far enough where as the if i spin the axle the hub wil spin as well, however theres still another half inch to go. Ive tried being forcefull and wacked it good with a piece of wood and hammer. Is there anything that could be preventing its entrance or do i need to hit it a little harder?

Sometimes the splines in the hub can be rusted or even twisted. Maybe pull it apart and clean it real goog with a wire brush and inspect for visible damage. Spray the hub and axle splines with WD-40 and try again. If it does the same thing then install the axle nut and tighten it slowly to see if the axle will be drawn into the hub.

I had the same problem with mine. The LCA was not attached to the knuckle, the knuckle was pointing relatively straight, I got ******-off and kicked the outside of the axle where it protrudes through the spindle with the bottom of my sneaker and volia'!
