Just had the AC fixed, (clutch, compressor, condensor, low pressure switch). Now the car squeals very bad while driving and accelerating. Doesn't seem to make noise while idle. Any thoughts?

Does it with the climate control on? Could be the gap is not set right on the A/C clutch.

I had a similar problem recently. I replaced the a/c clutch and the serpentine belt and upon driving the car I had a squeal and dimly lit battery light. I put the old belt back on and the squealing and bettery light went away. Five weeks after that the bearings of my year old alternator failed.

Took it back to Ford and they say she needs a new belt $125 + . What belt they didn't say. Serp belt replaced at the 60K only have 12K on this one. Does this sound right or do they just want more money? What are all the belts on a 93 ATX?
