I checked under the car today changed engine and trans doing ptu and rdu tomorrow but I have a serious question to ask. When I changed my trans fluid I got an engine light and a warning saying my AWD is off or disengaged kind of worried only had the car for a few days what could it be?

Have you driven the car again since the warning came on?

No I was afraid to. But made sure I cycled the trans neutral reverse drive Exeter’s a few times and left it in park with the motor running when I measured. So car was on and in park measure the fluid and when it was cold it was half way up the grid marks on the dip stick. Not sure if it it too much or too little fluid. When I drained it the old fluid was a little darker but still very clean and the stock BOV were vented to atmosphere with plugs put on the hot pipes. All this tells me previous owner probably cared for the car fairly well.

How far should I drive? Do you think it could clear the code?
Just go and drive. Sometime the systems wig out in these cars and you just need to turn them off and turn it back on.

I can confirm this, every once in a while when i do the mexico weekend trips, I'll get a service advancetrac light. I'll hook up the scan tool (no code) then just shut down the car and restart and it won't happen again for the rest of the night. I'm usually running from 12-4am and probably do 10+ pulls a weekend (when it allows).

When the advacetac light comes on in that situation, it means you are doing it right brother!

Ok update awd working now but got new engine light it said my air temp sensors was having and issue cleared it out and now it has no issues with the air temp sensor. But now I have a new bug. As soon as I cleared out the intake air temp sensor code the airbag light came on and the touch screen controls for the A/C are unresponsive plus the physical touch buttons for A/C are not actuating anything. Further the audio controls where the **** is doesn’t do anything. The air can’t be turned off. It only blows super hot at the highest fan setting so as soon as I turn on the car I am stuck with it on like that. If it helps diagnose; a message came on in the touch screen saying a system was shutting down to preserve the battery. So I picked up the scan tool and tested battery and battery came back healthy. Really scratching my head on this

Yeah. Random electronic codes from many different systems is often alt/battery power issues. The newer cars are much more sensitive than older models.

I unplugged the battery for hour and a half plugged back on and now looks like everything is fine for now. If it comes back I’ll check alternator like I said battery test came back good and with good charge.

New issue now I imagine it is the computer trying to relearn the trans shift points after I unplugged the battery because it takes forever and a high speed for it to finally shift into 6

Yep, you can manually put it into 6th with the paddles. Also just because a battery test good doesn't always mean they are, esp if they sit.

I don't drive me SHO daily, so when it sits in the garage I leave it on a battery tender.

Could be when I bought it from the lot they said it was sitting since the start of the pandemic.

If it keeps acting up, replace the battery. These cars are really battery sensitive.

Did you test the batt. under load? Turn on headlights, radio, etc
Computer needs at least 10V to function.
A weak batt. will fall under ten V while starting.

Yes, I tested under load. It looked like everything was ok. I think what happened was I may have left the car off but ran the audio system for a while and with the subs putting out some serious thumping bass and I think it may have ran the battery down a bit. Drove a bunch probably put some charge back in it disconnected the battery for about 30 min reconnected, and it seams to have cleared whatever was acting up.
