The performance of the China-sourced rotors seems to go against all common logic. Normally, the more you spend, the more quality you are buying. I am wondering if the metal is of a hardness and crystal structure that seasons well with the heating and cooling cycles the brakes subject them to.
I have bought many different versions of the name brand rotors only to find them warp and crack. Not very cost effective. So in desparation, I tried the "cheapies." To my great surprise, they have weathered my normal, frisky daily driving and two Lone Star SHO Club runs through the Texas Hill Country. Those are real brake testers! The Club is gearing up for another Fall Run this November and my $18 AutoZone rotors are ready.
