I was going to back out of the heads, too, but I figured that would be too big of a dick move, after the **** we both went through for them lol. Besides, heads are a lot easier to install than a quaife on an ATX is...

We sell used Quaife's for $1000US delivered, after they have been inspected by Quaife America and pronounced 'good'.

In your case, we'd have to ship it to them in the US, and back to us in Canada, but if we can claim the inspection is a 'warranty repair' and that goes through, it would still be the same $1000US delivered (plus taxes in Canada, of course).

As per my previous post, $1000US inspected and delivered for a used Quaife.

We will have 2 used units available (currently IN cars - one daily driver and one blower car), and we just got word that our pre-production run of 5 units +/- should be available mid-April. Once we get one installed and tested in the daily driver, we'd ship the Quaife in that car back for inspection, and then it would be available, so that's probably 'end of April'. The other is in the blower car, (off the road), so it would probably be available about the same time as the other, i.e. just a swap to get it out and install the Wavetrac in the blower car as well.

We will have to check our notes, but I believe we still have one of the 5 pre-production units without a name on it when they come in mid-April. These are available to our 100% deposit buyers on a first 'dibs' basis.

The 5 pre-production units have arrived. We expect these to be exactly the same as the production units. The production units are already made, just waiting for final machining, should be ready 6-8 weeks after approval of the pre-production units.

We have 7 ATX deposits so far. If it were an ATX, it would look something like this (minus the planetaries and big holes in the side of the housing, and would come with the side gears and pinions of course <G>)

WOW... Just saw this post! First I'd like to thank Josh for making a ATX unit available... I didn't think that day would ever come! :woo-hoo:

I would already have my deposit in for the ATX unit but I'm in currently researching the possibility of an SHO MTX in my car. I'm going to need an LSD whether I go ATX or MTX for the blower motor...

I'm keeping an eye on this thread... Thanks again Josh!

Kinda confused,

So for the MTX; the first batch of Wavetracs has been paid for and will soon be shipped out?

Meaning... anyone wanting one as of now, will have to wait another several months or so for the next batch?

by "As of: 4/25/09 – More than 10 units remaining." does that mean 10 deposits are required before the next batch?

I live way up north... last winter was ****, and I currently have been putting together all the parts and pieces to do a clutch job. If I could get a wavetrac to put in at the same time, that would be most awesome

2 pre-production units are installed in trannies, one is one the road, the other should be on the road shortly. (Unfortunately I picked a car where everything went wrong with the tear-down for a tester - the only car I had that is identical to another Quaife-equipped car I have for back-to-back testing ... damn Canadian salt-belt cars ... can you believe that there was a hole corroded though the tranny behind the tranny mount!!!??) So far, so good with the road testing though. We have one last check to do on the pre-production units, and then the rest of the batch can be finished (finishing won't take long) and be ready to ship.

"4/25/09 – More than 10 units remaining." means that there are more than 10 units remaining from THIS run. You can still place a deposit to be assured of a unit from this run. We expect shipping to start in a few weeks.
