Let's say i make a deposit how long do i have to make the full payment?

Thanks,

Bryan

In short, you can take as long as you want, as long as they are not 'sold out'.

From the website:

Deposits will hold the diff for 6 months from the time the deposit was made, so you can ‘hold’ a diff to give you more time to pay the balance. Deposits are non-refundable, but they are transferable. This means if you sell your car or something else happens that you no longer need or can’t take the diff, you can transfer your deposit to another party (they pay you for your deposit) and then they pay the balance and take delivery. If you need a diff more than a year later, please e-mail us.
<end>

If you need more than 6 months, let us know, and we will go from there. Basically, unless we know otherwise, if nothing is happening after 6 months, and the diffs are sold out, we will direct someone to you to buy out your deposit, and they will pay the balance and take delivery. If they are NOT sold out after 6 months, we will likely let it go until they are.

Any updates?

I read and saw this:
If we fail to get 30 deposits by mid-2010, then we will look at cancelling the ATX group buy, after consulting those who have placed deposits. If the ATX group buy is cancelled, then these ATX deposits are refundable. Otherwise, if the ATX group buy goes ahead, they are non-refundable (but are transferable), as with the MTX units.

So does that mean it's dead? Do we get our deposit refunded?

I still need to consult the ATX depositees. If you are watching this thread, have placed an ATX deposit, and do want a refund, shoot us an e-mail at

[email protected]

and we will go from there.

We should have units left by mid March, as we have more than 10 at this point, as per our (updated) Wavetrac page. You can place a deposit at any time to hold one, and pay the balance in multiple payments according to your schedule.

We have had a perfect operational record with the Wavetrac to date - a discussion is here:

Thanks!

Josh, I literally just saw this thread, but to gain interest in the ATX group-buy have you advertised on the taurus forums? I know some guys over there that would probably be interested in it, for when they need to rebuild their transmission.

We did, and SHO Source did, but no significant response.

New In Box Quaife for Wavetrac????

:laugh_ti:

In all seriousness, if a client of ours wants a NIB Quaife, that is something we can broker - the client pays us for a new Wavetrac, the person with the NIB Quaife ships it to our client, and when it arrives, we ship the Wavetrac to the person that had the Quaife.

Then the person that originally had the NIB Quaife gets it upgraded to a Wavetrac, and our client that wanted the Quaife gets what they wanted (not sure why they would want that though ...)
