auto vs manual calipers... differance?

Is there a differance between auto and manual brake calipers ? the application is a 94 SHO

GEN1/2 are the same GEN3 are different.

The rear calipers for the '93-'95 are the same. The front calipers for the '94-'95 are the same. The '93s and earlier are different from the '94-'95s....
